A county man and his son were arrested following a disturbance at their residence at Kamp-A-Lott, 1888 County Road 25 South, Bellefontaine, Friday afternoon around 5:30.
The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that Rodney Taylor (pictured left), 45, confronted Jarrod Taylor (pictured below), 26, about skipping work earlier in the day.
Jarrod told deputies that Rodney fired a .22-caliber pistol into the air, then pointed the gun at his face and threatened him.
Rodney denied pointing the gun, but witnesses agreed with the son.
Rodney also said it was an air rifle.
Deputies searched for the handgun, but did not find the weapon.
Rodney Taylor, who lives at Lot 219, was charged with aggravated menacing and discharging a firearm on prohibited premises.
Jarrod Taylor was arrested on a failure to appear warrant from Bellefontaine Municipal Court. He lives at Lot 221.
Both men were lodged in the Logan County Jail.
No one was injured.
