Amanda Frasure

School activities and awards: National Honor Society, Cross-Country, Logan County Youth Leadership, Ohio Model United Nations, Solo & Ensemble, TEAMS competition, Quiz Bowl, Science fair, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Musical pit; Scholarship Awards – Algebra 2A, Life Science, Band; Merit Awards - Government.

If I were principal for a day: I would have a restaurant cater lunch, then have an early dismissal at 2 o’clock, that way it still counts as a full day of school.

Favorite school memory:  The band’s trip to Florida last year.  There was never a dull moment, even on the bus ride.

People who have been an inspiration to me include: My mom because she never gives up and always sees everything through.

Lately, I have been reading:  Sherlock Holmes; The Complete Novels and Series Part 1.

My advice to parents: If the house is too quiet next year, just turn on the television or the radio.

My biggest regret:  Not being as out-going as I should’ve been my freshman year.

Next year I will be: Attending The Ohio State University as a member of their Scholars Program for Media, Marketing, and Communications and majoring in Business Administration.

Nick Mobley

School activities and awards: Robotics, TEAMS/JETS, STEM Club, OMUN, Quiz Bowl, Mentors-in-Training, Key Club, Chess Club, National Honor Society, Academic Letter, Rotary Club Award, Summer Tech Internship.

If I were principal for a day:  I would attempt to get the school’s blocked websites changed (for the better).  While many of the sites are blocked for good reason, some are not.  There is nothing like finding a really great source, only to find that it is blocked for some vague reason.

Favorite School Memory: Random days after-school in Robotics, talking to my friends.

People who have been an inspiration to me include: My parents, teachers, and friends have all been a great inspiration to me.

Lately I have been reading: I Am Legend by Richard Matheson, in addition to my Advanced Biology book.

My advice to my parents:  Don’t worry about me in college next year, I will be able to handle it!

My biggest regret: Not being more involved in school programs.

Next year I will be: Either attending OSU, ONU, or Miami for Mechanical Engineering.
