Pedestrian struck on South Main Street

A city pedestrian suffered minor injuries when she was struck by a county-owned SUV in front of The Armory, 1023 South Main Street, Tuesday afternoon around three o'clock.

The Bellefontaine Police Department reports that Sabrina Mills, 20, of 333 East Sandusky Avenue, Apt. 4, was struck by an '06 Ford Explorer driven by Roger Brown, 61, of 498 Newford Drive, Bellefontaine.

Mills was walking south on the sidewalk, pushing a stroller with her 4-year-old son, Jayden White.

The accident happened when Brown attempted to exit the driveway.

Mills was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Bellefontaine Fire and EMS.

Her son was not injured.

Brown, who was wearing his seat belt, was cited for right of way on a sidewalk.

He was not injured.
