A local driver suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash on State Route 292 in East Liberty Thursday morning around 6:50.
The Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol reports that Tony Harrell, 42, of Kenton, was driving a 2008 Ford F150 southbound on 292 when he failed to negotiate a curve and lost control on the snow and ice. His pickup then went left of center and sideswiped a northbound 2002 Chevy 2500 operated by Thomas Rittenour, 40, of 9729 County Road 15, Zanesfield.
Harrell, who suffered incapacitating injuries, was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Perry Township EMS.
He was cited for driving left of center.
Rittenour had possible injuries. He was not transported.
Both men wearing their seat belts.
