City man arrested for neighborhood threat

A city teen was arrested after he allegedly threatened a woman during a neighborhood dispute Tuesday night around 10:30.

The Bellefontaine Police Department responded to 812 Heritage Court.

Cody Coil (pictured), 18, of 812 Heritage Court, Apt. 18, reportedly threatened Christina Bricker, 21, of 812 Heritage Court, Apt. 22.

After Bricker refused to answer her door Coil sent her a text that said, "There are 206 bones in the human body that can be broke and I will break yours if you wake my baby up again."

Coil, who admitted to sending the text, was arrested for menacing and a failure to appear warrant from Bellefontaine Municipal Court.

Coil was lodged in the Logan County Jail.

Coil and Bricker accused each other of making excessive noise.

No one was injured.
