A local driver, who swerved to miss a deer, lost control and struck a barn on County Road 9 south of Rushsylvania Thursday night around 11:55.
The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that Clayton Allen, 21, of 164 Miami Road, Rushsylvania, was driving a '97 Chevy Malibu northbound when he went off the right side of the road, then overcorrected and went off the left side of the road and struck Sarah Downey's barn at 6947 County Road 9.
The crash caused heavy damage to the barn door, a snow blade, and a log splitter.
Allen, who was wearing his seat belt, was not injured.
His car suffered moderate damage.
No citations were issued; deputies continue their investigation.
