A teen pedestrian suffered minor injuries when he was struck by an SUV at the intersection of South Main Street and West Auburn Avenue Wednesday afternoon around 3:40.
The Bellefontaine Police Department reports that Kenneth Mouzon, 15, of South Madriver Street, Bellefontaine, was walking westbound attempting to cross South Main when he was hit by a southbound 2006 Honda Pilot driven by James Snyder, 37, of 5774 State Route 274, Rushsylvania.
A southbound school bus in the inside lane prevented Mouzon and Snyder from seeing each other.
It appears that Mouzon attempted to cross the street while the light was red on Main Street, but turned to green before he crossed all four lanes.
Mouzon was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Bellefontaine Fire and EMS.
No citations were issued; police continue their investigation.
