Firefighters from four area departments were able to quickly contain a fire on top of Honda Transmission Manufacturing Sunday morning around ten o'clock.
Indian Joint Fire Chief Mark Gibson said the fire started when crews were doing maintenance on an air handler.
An unnamed contractor suffered minor burns on his arm, but he refused transport.
Gibson said the fire destroyed an exhaust fan.
No damage estimate was given for the small fire.
Fire crews from Lakeview, Huntsville, and Bellefontaine assisted at the scene along with Indian Lake EMS.
Firefighters were on scene for about 90 minutes.
Gibson said it's been several years since Indian Joint responded to a fire at Honda Transmission.
The fire is not expected to affect production at the plant.
