Three Indian Lake High School students were arrested Wednesday for two unrelated fights last week at the school.
Washington Township Police Chief Rick Core reports that both fights happened in the hallway last Thursday.
Junior Austin Hicks, 17, of 11063 Shawnee Path, Lakeview, assaulted freshman Jonathan Brown, 14, of 9011 Princess Road, Lakeview.
Brown was nauseous hours after the fight. He was taken to the hospital and diagnosed with a concussion.
Hicks was charged with assault and lodged in the Logan County JDC.
Brown, who never retaliated, was not charged.
The other fight was between freshman Logan Taylor, 15, of 3550 County Road 13, Bellefontaine, and sophomore Britney Zachariah, 16, of 14146 Route 33, Lakeview.
Both girls lost a large amount of hair during the fight.
Taylor, who was already lodged in the Logan County JDC on a probation violation, was charged with assault.
Zachariah was charged with assault and lodged in the Logan County JDC.
Hicks, Taylor, and Zachariah were suspended last week.
Police have responded to three fights at the high school since late January.
