A city woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash on the east side of Bellefontaine Tuesday morning just after two o'clock.
The Bellefontaine Police Department reports that Kara Searfoss, 42, of 1152 Michigan Street, was driving a '96 Dodge Intrepid westbound in the 1200 block of Eastern Avenue (County Road 10) when she went off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole. The car then spun 180 degrees and struck a tree.
Searfoss, who was wearing her seat belt, was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Bellefontaine Fire and EMS.
She was cited for failure to control.
The car suffered heavy damage.
