An Indian Lake High School student was arrested following a fight at the school Tuesday afternoon around 12:45.
Washington Township Police Chief Rick Core reports that Jristian Humphrey, 17, of 11735 Sunburst Street, Lakeview, pushed Justin Converse, 16, of 11287 Mohawk Path, Lakeview, into the gym bleachers.
After Converse stood up, Humphrey punched him in the head 8 to 10 times.
Humphrey was charged with assault and lodged in the Logan County JDC.
Converse, who never retaliated, was not charged.
Chief Core said Tuesday's assault stemmed from a fight last week at the high school involving Converse and Tyler Watson, 15, of 11690 Williams Drive, Lakeview.
The two boys were charged following the fight last Monday morning around 7:30.
Initially, the Logan County Sheriff's Office responded to Mary Rutan Hospital on an assault complaint around nine a.m.
Watson was receiving treatment at the hospital.
Watson told deputies that he was in an altercation with Converse.
Authorities then went to the school and spoke with Converse and several student witnesses.
Watson and Converse were each issued summons for assault.
Both of them were suspended from school for three days.
