The Bellefontaine Board of Education approved an administrative promotion and change of assignment Monday.
High School Principal Christine Galvin has been moved to Executive Director of Instructional Services. Galvin will oversee the district’s curriculum as director and her contract is for 250-days.
The board also approved the retirement of high school English teacher Diane Stein. Diane has 33 years of service in education and spent 27 years with Bellefontaine City Schools.
The board also received recognition from Bellefontaine students. January is Board Appreciation Month and every school sent gifts to the board members.
