Wild weather makes BHS students want delays (Audio included)

Bellefontaine High School students say that they think the extremely cold weather should merit extra delays and cancellations this winter.

The below-freezing temperatures makes it difficult for students to wait at the bus stops or walk to school.

Icy roads are dangerous for student drivers, especially those who recently received their licenses.

Students must leave earlier in order to have enough time to drive safely and slowly to school.

Bellefontaine City Schools received a two-hour delay on Tuesday for the bitter cold temperatures, along with many other local schools.

Students are taking advantage of the extra snow by going to Mad River Mountain to snowboard or ski.

Listen to Emma Wilson talk about how students have adjusted for the bad weather.

Listen to Heather Johnson discuss the cold temperatures.
