A man wanted for a domestic dispute in nearby Delaware Tuesday night was found dead near a cell phone tower in rural Zanesfield Wednesday morning around 9:40.
Donald Flauto, 38, of Delaware, fled on foot after crashing a 2010 Toyota Camry on Route 33 near State Route 292 (near Mad River Mountain) Tuesday night around 11:30.
The Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol reports that Flauto was headed westbound on 33 when he drove through the median then across the eastbound lanes. His vehicle went through a fence and into a field.
The State Highway Patrol and Logan County Sheriff's Office searched the area.
Authorities believe that Flauto fled to the cell tower, which is about 3/4 mile north of the crash scene.
He apparently climbed the tower and fell to his death.
Flauto's body was discovered by a DP&L employee.
The victim's body was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Tri-Valley EMS.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Logan County Coroner's Office.
Initially, the Delaware Police Department responded to the domestic dispute and Flauto fled into Logan County.
