Marijuana seized on I-70.A Minnesota man is facing felony drug charges after the State Highway Patrol seized 92 pounds of marijuana, valued at approximately $460,000, following a traffic stop in Madison County.

Troopers stopped a 2011 Ford Taurus with Oklahoma registration for an unsafe lane change violation on I-70 near London Tuesday morning around 10:30.

Criminal indicators were observed and troopers detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A probable cause search revealed the drugs.

The driver, Whisky Vang, 27, of Minneapolis, was charged with a second-degree felony count of possession of marijuana.

He was lodged in the Tri-County Regional Jail.

If convicted, he could face up eight years in prison and up to a $15,000 fine.
