Runaway teen located, arrested near county church

A runaway teen was located and arrested near Zanesfield early Thursday morning.

The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that Brayden Todd, 14, left his Valley Hi residence Wednesday night.

His mother, Amber Gillum, 34, went grocery shopping around 9:30 p.m.

She returned about 90 minutes later and discovered her son was missing.

Through social media, Gillum learned Todd's location.

Deputies found Todd hiding in some bushes in front of Goshen Friends Church, 5527 County Road 153, around 1 a.m.

He had a duffel bag with clothing and two cell phones.

Todd was charged with disorderly conduct and lodged in the Logan County JDC.

He was recently grounded after his mother found a marijuana pipe in his bedroom.
