Four defendants were sentenced and two pleaded guilty before assigned Judge Mark O'Connor in Logan County Common Pleas Court earlier this week.
John Walker Jr., 63, of Bowling Green, was sentenced to ten years in prison for rape and gross sexual imposition and five years post release control. He was also classified a Tier III sex offender and must register his address with law enforcement every 90 days for life.
Last month, he pleaded guilty to rape and gross sexual imposition.
In December 2015, Walker was indicted on seven counts of rape (F1) and three counts of gross sexual imposition (F3).
Walker, who used to live in the county, sexually abused a girl from 2009 to 2013.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office says the abuse happened at the victim’s Rushsylvania area home.
The victim, now 16, reported the abuse to Lucas County authorities in June 2015.
Deputies were notified in October 2015.
The girl was 9-years-old when the first incident happened. The abuse continued until she was 13.
Walker was arrested in Bowling Green in December 2015.
Joshua Rodabaugh, 29, of Bellefontaine, was sentenced to three years community control, the probation incentive program, and ordered to pay a $250 fine, court costs, and attorney fees for trespass in a habitation and domestic violence.
Landon Dickinson, 20, of Bellefontaine, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs and was granted intervention in lieu of conviction. He must complete substance abuse counseling and three years community control.
Timothy Sells, 51, of Bellefontaine, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs and was granted intervention in lieu of conviction. He must complete substance abuse counseling and three years community control.
Bradley York, 27, of DeGraff, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs and admitted a community control violation. Sentencing is scheduled for January 17th.
David Adkins, 28, of Russells Point, pleaded guilty to petty theft. A presentence investigation was ordered and sentencing is scheduled for February 13th.
