The Bellefontaine Board of Education accepted at their first meeting of the new year Monday night a bid of $41,640 from Continental Office Supply to refurbish the high school cafeteria. The money will come from the food services account and not affect the general fund.
Modern, comfortable seating will be installed over spring break.
The board conducted an organizational meeting prior to the regular meeting. Joan Haushalter, starting her tenth year on the board, was re-elected as president. Tim O'Rielley, starting his fourteenth year, will again be the vice president.
