Donation to help Benjamin Logan expand training facility (Audio included)

The Benjamin Logan Board of Education accepted a $30,000 donation Monday.

The donation was given by the TTEE/Lewis & Dorothy Tamplin Trust through executor Valerie Stanley. The donation will be used to begin a project that would expand the district's sports training and weight room facility. The board also entered into contract with Richard Bierley Architectural Services in the amount of $6,500 for the project.

Superintendent Lori Lytle comments on the new administration.

The resignation for Middle School Music Teacher Clint Steinbrunner was approved. Steinbrunner is pursuing further employment.

The board accepted the resignation for bus driver Ross Zahner.

The board also moved to borrow a loan worth $306,000. The loan will pay for half of the air conditioning equipment. The district will pay on the loan for five years.

The Benjamin Logan Board of Education will meet again on September 15th at 7 pm.
