BMS hosts 11th annual Summer Enrichment Academy (Audio included)

Summer Enrichment Academy (SEA) has been a program put on at Bellefontaine for 11 years. The purpose is to enrich 2nd through 8th graders.
The coordinators are Sally Stolly, Jen Frederick, and Cathy Wiley. Directors hope to provide academic and creative challenges for gifted or highly motivated students.

There are 26 classes this year. These classes are American Girl Adventures, iCreate, WPKO and WBLL Sportscaster Camp, Dig In, Science Rocks!, Crime Scene Investigator, Sharks!, Slimy Science, Out of This World!!, Time Machine, Native American Culture, Apples Aren't Just for Teachers Anymore!, Board Games, Coding Club, Sports and Statistics, TV Exploration, VEX Robotic Challenge, Baking BONANZA!!, Craft and Snack Creations, Top Chef Academy, Bake My Day!, Make It Take It Creative Crafts, Coyote Steals Summer, Snip Snap Let's Scrap, Coral Reef Representatives, and Ready Set Let's Watercolor!

Students arrive at the middle school at 9:30 and meet in the gym where their teacher will walk them to their class. They will then do their activities until 11:30 where parents will meet them in the cafeteria to pick them up.
The kids are educated in all areas and teachers use fun and entertaining ways to get the students to interact and have fun all while learning.
