Hi-Point hires second satellite program supervisor (Audio included)

The Ohio Hi-Point Career Center Board of Education hired the district’s second satellite program supervisor Wednesday.
Craig Bales was named to the position. He will join Teresa Bodey, who was hired in May. The two will oversee programs at the satellite schools in their areas of expertise.
Superintendent Dr. Jeff Price gave a construction update. He explained that both the auto services and information technology labs are complete and have occupancy permits. He noted that the welding lab is done and an occupancy permit has been requested. The permit could be ready by the end of this week.

The board conducted its annual superintendent's evaluation. Dr. Price received a positive evaluation citing the involvement of the administrative team and the direction/vision of Ohio Hi-Point.

Contracts of employment were issued for:
Tammy Bales, special education coordinator
Natosha Frost, supervisors' secretary
Ali Luttrell, CBI instructor
Jason Robinson, social studies instructor
Ginger Shellenberger, cosmetology instructor
Resignations were observed for:
Breck Finch, personal reasons
Terry Hedges, personal reasons
The Ohio Hi-Point Career Center Board of Education will meet again on July 23rd at 7 pm.
