A teen driver and two passengers suffered serious injuries in a rollover crash on Township Road 43 east of DeGraff Wednesday morning around 2:55.
The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that Dakota Murphy, 17, of 501 Gunntown Road, Lot 89, Bellefontaine, was driving a 2012 Honda Civic eastbound on 43 when he failed to negotiate a sharp right curve and drove off the left side of the road through a wooden fence. The vehicle then hit a dirt pile, went airborne, and hit a tree.
Murphy was transported from the scene by MedFlight to OSU Medical Center.
Passengers Amber Love, 15, of 921 Euclid Street, Bellefontaine, and Joshua Brenner, 22, of 778 Township Road 31 North, Bellefontaine, were transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Riverside EMS and Robinaugh EMS.
Authorities are trying to determine if seat belts were used.
DeGraff Police and Fire along with the Macochee Joint Ambulance District assisted at the scene.
Deputies continue their investigation.
