During its final meeting before this year's fair, the Logan County Fair Board received some good news about its line of credit Wednesday.
The treasurer and secretary have been working to decrease the amount of money the fair owes. The debt was around $30,000 but currently sets in the neighborhood of $17,000.
Signs Ohio from Lima brought a portable sign (pictured right) to the meeting. The demonstration showed the board what a new sign could do for the fair. The sign is colorful and can be programmed. The fair board is only looking into possibly replacing its sign at this time. No decision will be made until after the fair.
This year's Logan County Fair will run from July 7th through the 12th. The tractor pulls and calf/pig scrambles are returning. The entertainment tent has been moved closer to the merchants’ tent. The sheriff’s building is also new this year.
