A local driver was cited following a three-vehicle injury crash at the intersection of State Route 274 and State Route 235 Monday night around 7:15.
The Washington Township Police Department reports that Joshua Brewer, 31, of Bellefontaine, was driving a Mercury Montana southbound on 235 when he ran a red light and struck the passenger's side of a westbound Ford Escape operated by Todd Smith, 61, of Coldwater.
The Escape then hit an eastbound Pontiac Sunfire driven by Michael Daniel, 30, of Laura.
Daniel was in the left turn lane waiting to head north on 235.
Smith and his wife, Kathy, 55, were transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Indian Lake EMS.
Brewer and Daniel were treated at the scene by Indian Lake EMS.
Brewer was cited for failure to control and a red light violation.
All four occupants were wearing their seat belts.
Each vehicle was towed from the scene.
The Indian Joint Fire District and Logan County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
