Top of Ohio Shelter gets new logo

In keeping with its recent name change, the Top of Ohio Pet Shelter (TOPS) conducted a contest to come up with a new logo to go along with the new name.

Jason Benton of Bellefontaine was named the winner on WPKO’s Give Me Shelter program with Chad Wilkinson and Bellefontaine High School DECA students Maddie Rader, Caleb Mitchell, and Kenzie Patton (shown left to right with Caleb holding the winning logo) making the live announcement. Jason’s winning logo earned him a $100 gift card from Amazon.

There were a total of sixteen entries for the contest which was open to Logan County residents and students. Submissions were judged by the BHS Marketing and Young Professionals/DECA students and advisor Katie Rychener. The students are partnering with TOPS on a branding project and a selection of the logo was part of the effort.
