13th Annual Winter Warm Up!

First Friends Church and Harper Community Church will be hosting the 13th Annual Winter Warm Up on Saturday, December 10 from 9am-1pm at First Friends. Free Clothing and Free Lunch! Everyone is Welcome! If you would like to donate any gently used clothing, shoes, blankets, sheets, towels, books etc. They can be dropped off at both churches or picked up at your home upon request. Huntsville Fire Department Breakfast With Santa
8:30 AM - 12:00 PM

The Huntsville Volunteer Fire Department will host their annual Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 3rd from 8:30am to Noon. All you can eat pancakes and sausage. Cost is by donation. Come out and join the fun and get your photos with Santa!

Shop Till You Drop at the YMCA!

The Hilliker YMCA will host a Holiday Craft and Food Bazaar on December 10 from 9am-3pm. Vendors will display crafts and home baked goods. You will find an assortment of knits and hand-sewn apparel, candles and frangrances, wood crafts, outdoor food vendors, kids activities and much more! Join the YMCA this day and we will waive the joiners fee. If you would like to be a vendor please call Linda Wilcox at 592-9622 to reserve your spot.

Breakfast with Santa

Saturday, December 3rd from 9am to 11am at the First United Methodist Church, 201 N. Main Street Bellefontaine. Proceeds benefit local food pantries. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Suggested Donation for adults is $7 and $5 for children.

Urbana University Singers present "Tis The Season"

The Urbana University Singers will present a holiday concert titled “Tis the Season with the Urbana University Singers.” The concert will be on Saturday, December 3 at 4:00pm at the Urbana Swedenborgian Church, 330 S. Main Street in Urbana. The performance will feature several songs celebrating the holiday season including traditional Christmas carols as well as modern choral works about the winter season. In celebration of the happiness of the holidays and the beauty of snow, the program will contain choral works such as “Beautiful December” and an uplifting processional “African Noel.” Throughout the program, there will be short readings about peace and Christmas, and the audience will be asked to participate in singing of favorite holiday carols. Urbana students Heather Berry, Erin Lynch, and Keara Henry will be singing solos as well. Under the leadership of Urbana University’s new Director of Music Bridget Olenik, and accompanist Julie Gallagher, the University Singers is the University student concert choir and consists of Urbana University students in various disciplines throughout campus. The December 3 concert is free and open to the public. Seating is limited, and will be based on a first come, first served basis.
