Volunteer Training
9:00 AM - 9:00 PM

The volunteer training is for both men and women who are interested in getting involved with our ministry in any capacity.  The training is two evenings and one short day which are needed for traingin to be considered complete.  Even if you can't come to all three days, we still invite you to come to those you can attend.  Please feel free to invite your friends.  There are many, many ways to volunteer at the HPWC.  We look forward to seeing you!

When:  October 23 & 24 5:30pm-9:00pm and October 25 9:00am-3:00pm (12 hours total training)  Thursday and Friday evening, a light dinner will be served at 5:30 and training will begin promptly at 6:00pm.

Where:  Vineyard Christian Fellowship 624 Township Road 55 Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311

Meals:  Dinner offered Thursday & Friday.  Lunch offered Saturday.

What to bring:  Bible, notepad, pen/pencil

Cost:  $30 for manual (payable to PCC of UC)

The Kiwanis Club of Bellefontaine has invited a U.S. Army leader to address its club members regarding today’s Army and its shared values of service, leadership and education with Kiwanis International.

 

1SG Donald Graves from the Marion Recruiting Company will present his remarks as part of a first-ever U.S. Army / Kiwanis International Speakers Bureau, which provides an opportunity for Army leaders and local service organizations to discuss opportunities for collaboration between the military and the community.

State Board of Education Operating Standards Committee to Meet

Public Meeting Notice: State Board of Education Operating Standards Committee to Meet

The State Board of Education of Ohio Operating Standards Committee will meet on Thursday, Oct. 23, at noon at the Ohio Department of Education, 25 South Front St., Columbus.

 

The purpose of the committee is to review and, if needed, recommend to the full board revisions to the Operating Standards for Ohio’s schools. At this meeting, the committee will discuss Ohio Administrative Code 3301-35-01 and 3301-35-12.

The "Top of Ohio" Mended Hearts
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

The "Top of Ohio" Mended Hearts chapter will meet on Thurs., Oct. 23 at 6:00
p.m. in the conference room at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine.  Mended
Hearts meetings are open to the public and our speaker for the evening will
be Trudy Mays from Au Natural who will inform us about vitamins for our
overall health.  Mended Hearts is a national non-profit support organization
for those of any age with heart problems or heart disease.  For more
