Green Hills Community hosts an open house of their DayBreak program from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19.
The open house is an opportunity to meet the staff who operate the program and learn more about the programming that is geared toward life enrichment.
DayBreak operates from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Clients can enroll for one day a week or up to five days a week. Transportation from the Green Hills Community fleet is also available to clients.
DayBreak is an adult day services program designed to meet the needs of older adults who live with relatives who work during the day, may be in transition from hospital to nursing home to the community, want social interaction with others their age or need a safe daytime environment.
Applications are being accepted for enrollment. Financial assistance may be available for those who qualify.
