ACT Boot Camp!
Open to Students Enrolled in Logan County Schools
Bellefontaine High School Auditorium
Tuesday, April 23, 2013, from 8:15 am to 2:30 pm
Most students and parents do not realize that it only takes a few points on the ACT to make a huge difference when gaining acceptance to one’s college of choice, as well as earning valuable scholarship funds. In an effort to help Logan County students improve their ACT scores, students from Bellefontaine, Benjamin Logan, Indian Lake, Riverside, and Ohio Hi-Point may participate in the intensive six-hour Boot Camp, hosted by Test Prep Seminars, a nationally-renowned test preparation provider, on Tuesday, April 23rd, in the Bellefontaine HS Auditorium. This workshop is designed to give students effective test-taking and time-management strategies that can help them realize a significant increase in their ACT scores. This Boot Camp is highly recommended for students planning to take the ACT for college admissions or scholarships! To learn more, please visit www.testprepseminars.org or contact your high school guidance office.
The normal cost of this Boot Camp is $250. However, the Logan County High School-Higher Education Grant Project is very committed to improving student test scores and is therefore making this Boot Camp available to Logan County students for only $40. The Boot Camp will be held during the school day to allow as many students as possible to participate. This six-hour workshop is both effective and economical. Materials include two books for each participant, one that includes 27 practice tests with detailed answers and explanations, as well as a strategy book. The registration deadline is Monday, April 15th. Lunch included in the price of the boot camp. Students will be receiving a letter and registration form in the mail.
