HOMEMAKERS MAKE PLANS FOR SPRING ACHIEVEMENT DAY
The Hardin County Homemakers Council announced that their annual Spring Achievement Day and Cultural Arts Show will be March 26 at the Moose Lodge, 801 W. Lima St, Kenton in the lower level meeting area.
Some of the plans for the program are: “31 Gifts” Teresa Styer, Consultant; “Container Gardening” by Dave McPheron, New Leaf Garden Center and Hardin County Master Gardener; Kenton Middle School’ “Dimensions”, Julie Strouse, Director; “Tea Cup Collections” by Kathy Klingelhofer; and “Protect What’s In Your Wallet” by Kathy Oliver, OSU Extension Educator. Also, for a little extra fun, bring your purses.
There will be a time for viewing the cultural arts and voting for favorites. Lunch will be served by the Ladies of the Moose consisting of a lettuce salad with mandarin oranges topped with a choice of sliced chicken breast or ham. There will be a choice of dressings and muffins to go along with the salad and a dessert table.
Persons of all ages are invited, however, reservations are required by Tuesday, March 19. The cost will be $9.50 or $5 for program only.
