Tri-County CAC announces their Senior Valentine Luncheon on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the Champaign County Services Building’s Main Auditorium on 1512 U.S. Hwy 68 South in Urbana from 11:30-1:30pm. Door prizes and entertainment from the Ragtime Strutters live band will welcome all seniors who attend. Lunch service is from 11:30-12:30pm for registered seniors who are 60 or older or the spouse of a registered participant who meets the age requirement. The menu includes a pork chop with gravy, smashed potatoes, sauerkraut, dinner roll, cherry ambrosia, milk, fruit juice and coffee. The $2.00 suggested contribution helps cover the cost of the meal, yet registered seniors will not be denied meal service due to the inability to contribute. Those under 60 years of age should call for more information about the meal contribution and age eligibility. Meal reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to participate and walk-ins will not be accepted at the door on the day of the event.
