Tri-County Community Action Commission proudly announces the Grand Opening of a new Senior Nutrition Site at Green Hills Apt Recreation Center.  This site will be open every Tuesday and Friday for lunch starting on January 15, 2013.  The Recreation Center is located on 6557 US Rt 68 South in the apartment community’s main office building to the left off the main drive.  Door prizes will welcome attendees during the first week and the site will also hold various program education sessions throughout the year. Lunch will be served from 11:00-12:00pm for registered seniors who are 60 or older or the spouse of a registered participant who meets the age requirement. The suggested contribution is $2.00 to help cover the cost of the meal, yet registered seniors will not be denied meal service due to the inability to pay any or all of the suggested contribution. Those interested under 60 years of age shall contact the Nutrition Coordinator. Meal reservations must be made 24 hours in advance to participate.
